10-27-16:   This is another very special adoption for us. Titan was heartworm positive at Aiken County Animal Shelter. On 27 OCTOBER 2015, Shelter Animals Advocates The Hea rtbeat Goes On pulled him and treated him. Titan went to a home almost immediately, but was returned shortly after when his owner had a sudden and unexpected life change. Poor Titan went into a bit of a depression and then stayed with the rescue for the rest of 2016... The right family just never came along. That is until he met his new mom, EXACTLY ONE YEAR after we pulled him! Titan's adoption was finalized 27 OCTOBER 2016! His new mom asked if we could hold him for just a few more days so she could get the house ready for him, and today 01 November 2016, Titan is FINALLY home! Let the heart beat on!

Teegan was HW positive on death row, completed her heartworm treatment through The HeartBeat program and has now found her forever home ... her new sisters created a welcome home chalk picture for her homecoming today! 4-30-16

Tinkerbell was pregnant at the shelter, the shelter foster group fostered her til pups weaned, Tinkerbell then tested HW positive. She received her treatment through the HeartBeat campaign and found her forever home 1-11-16

Tessa was HW+ with 8 puppies on Aiken County SC Shelter death row last year, a rescue pulled her and pups, adopted out pups, then went under.. Tessa was fostered by a former foster for that rescue and then turned over to us in June 2015. We took Tessa back into our rescue and found her a forever home in July 2015
