Rex

12-11-16: Rex sure did catch a lucky break!
This sweet boy was just returned to the rescue a few days ago for his own safety. It turns out that Rex has such severe separation anxiety that he quite literally cannot be left completely alone, he has to have a person or a dog home with him at all times. His prior adopter couldn't get a second dog, so she had no choice but to return him so he wouldn't hurt himself.
His new adopter saw a post on the SAA President's FB page and quickly suggested that she and her husband come meet him! This is the perfect home for him! His new sister Elle (a SAA alum) has similar anxiety issues, so his new parents are very prepared to deal with his issues. Very good news for this sweet boy! Yay! Let the Heartbeat go on!
