Rex

2-18-17: HeartBeat alum Rex was adopted back in November but had to wait til his family got their new home... today he joined his fur sister Elle (also a HeartBeat alum) and his mom and dad! Oh happy day!!!

Selys

Jan. 21,2017

Hooray! Selys (Cece) was adopted today, 21 January! (Selys is the grey pooper on the far right)

Selys was heartworm positive and on death row. Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk - RADAR Dogs offered assistance with her funding, Shelter Animals Advocates The Heartbeat Goes On Campaign then pulled her and treated her for heartworms, hookworms and whipworms. Selys also had a mass on her left back leg that SAA removed. This sweet senior citizen is very shy and requires dogs around her for her to be comfortable, so she went to a foster home that has a lot of nice poopers. After two weeks in foster, her foster mom decided that she didn't need to go anywhere and adopted her! Foster Fail! Now sweet old Selys is in the perfect home! Yay! Let the heart beat on!

Bolton

Jan.21,2017.

Hooray! Bolton (Onyx) was adopted today!

Bolton was heartworm positive and on death row. Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk - RADAR Dogs offered assistance with his funding, Shelter Animals Advocates The Heartbeat Goes On Campaign then pulled him and treated him for heartworms and hookworms. This sweet senior citizen was quickly adopted in September, but unfortunately, after several months in his home, his dad returned from his extended business trip to find out he was deathly allergic to Bolton! Although it broke his family's heart, poor Bolton had to come back to the rescue. He soon got another lucky break though and went to go stay in a nice lady's house where after two weeks of foster, he was adopted! His new mom and dad say that it's like he's always been there! Yay! Let the heart beat on!

Tasha

Great news today for Tasha!
Today, 26 Dec, Tasha was adopted!
Tasha was heartworm positive at ACAS, RADAR provided funds for her treatment and Shelter Animals Advocates The Heartbeat Goes On rescued her and treated her! Miss Tasha has some nerve damage which causes her back legs to get confused and sometimes they cross themselves or she stumbles. Dr Sybil Davis at Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehab helped Tasha improve her mobility so that she can live a happy and normal life. Thankfully, her new mom doesn't mind continuing to work with her and giving her a helping hand when she needs it!
Yay! Let the heartbeat go on!

Hank

12-20-16:  Yay Hank has a new home!!
Today, 20 December, Hank goes home! Now sweet Hank not only has loving parents, but also a human sibling to love all over him!
Hank was found by our Rescue President as a stray running around. We held him for several months and looked for his owner, but never had any luck. We finally gave up on finding his old family, and now he has a great new family! Yay! Merry Christmas Hank!
